A smile, a sympathy, that's how Gerard and Marc both commisert track in Varennes sur Allier for the French handikart championships came back to their meeting with Fabrice. Accustomed to truck and car tracks, the 2 friends took part in handikart races for the first time. We were a little apprehensive in the event of going off track, but the experience and support of the Paris firefighters made it possible to pass a worry-free test. Marc very touched by the talent and dedication of the pilots, he who personally supports his son Loic who is paraplegic and drives in leisure karting.
Gerard and Marc told me of their wish, he would like to see handikart as well as disabled sport in general be put forward at the same level as valid sports and therefore receive training adapted to disabled sport.
Champions, a lot of courage and talent, these are the memories they will have of this weekend rich in emotion.

"We thank the marshals of Varennes sur Allier. They never hesitated for a moment to help me get out of karting with my mechanics. Always smiling and cheering us up...
I will never forget talking to Marc about his son being a paraplegic. The final ends the marshals waiting for us in closed park by forming a guard of honor on 2 sides.
It was UNFORGETTABLE. "
